Gemma Shaw offers educational dance sessions to the wider community in both Nurseries and Schools.

Nurseries:

Working with Pre-School children in Nurseries across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, Gemma provides one hour weekly dance sessions that are both fun and educational.

Sessions include coordinated moves, floor work, circle work and mime and are designed to encourage creativity, expression and individuality. Themes and topics are explored to compliment their educational learning, such as: Seasons, Space, Transportation, Species, Parts of the Body etc.

The sessions develop skills in coordination and balance, creativity and imagery, spatial awareness, working with others and musicality.

Schools:

Gemma Shaw is also available on a one off or more regular basis to provide dance sessions in schools or after school clubs. Individual requirements can be discussed and catered for.
